The Shanakee – The old Story Teller
The Shanakee opened its doors in 2003. It is Irish owned and managed. Over the years it has been a hub of Irish activity for Ealing and the surrounding area. Showing all GAA games on large screen TV’s and Live music on Sunday nights. The atmosphere is most definitely Irish with every nationality visiting the Shanakee and all most welcome. The jukebox is very much a centre of focus at the Shanakee with an amazing selection of tunes and if by chance your tune isn’t on the box you can request it and it will be there the next time you visit. The customers at the Shanakee are good people, so don’t be surprised if they just walk up to you and strike up a conversation.
The Shanakee’s goal is to provide its customers with a warm and friendly welcome, great beer, great atmosphere and great craic.
